This Privacy Policy describes how Abs Lock ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Abs Lock mobile application (the "App") and the website at abslock.app (the "Site"), collectively referred to as the "Services."
By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name and email address (via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In)
- Authentication tokens from your sign-in provider
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the App, including:
- Alarm settings and schedule
- Sit-up rep counts and completion data
- Streak and progress history
- App opens, screen views, and feature usage
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Crash reports and performance data
Camera Data
The App uses your device's camera to detect and count sit-up reps via on-device pose detection. Camera data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers, stored, or shared with any third party. No images, video frames, or biometric data leave your phone.
Subscription Information
If you subscribe to Abs Lock Premium, payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive subscription status information (active, expired, etc.) through RevenueCat but do not have access to your payment card or billing details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Track your alarm activity, streaks, and progress
- Manage your account and subscription status
- Send notifications related to your alarms
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the app experience
- Diagnose technical issues and prevent abuse
- Communicate with you about updates or changes to the Services
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect information:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
- PostHog — Product analytics and feature flags
- RevenueCat — Subscription management
- AppsFlyer — Attribution and install analytics
- Vercel — Website hosting and analytics
- Apple / Google — Authentication and payment processing

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With third-party services listed above that help us operate the App

- Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Abs Lock, our users, or others
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
